When a local car collector wanted to restore the wheels of his 1941 Cadillac to original OEM finish, he brought them to the wheel experts at Hot Rodz Powder House in Egg Harbor City, NJ. The steel wheels were rusty and had pitting after so many years. "We were able to smooth out the pitting and powder coat the wheels to original color and finish," says Steve Amadio, owner of Hot Rodz Powder House and Checkers Auto Detailing.
Powder Coating is the process of applying powder to metal and baking it to permanently adhere the coating to the surface of the metal. It is very durable and chemical resistant. Powder Coating is ideal to customize wheels or make them look like new.
Often confused, Ceramic Coating is a durable coating that withstands high temperatures. Ceramic Coating is great for exhaust manifolds, headers, and turbo chargers. Hot Rodz offers ceramic coating as well as powder coating services.
